Making movies make sense is produced by Media Education Wales, a Cardiff-based nonprofit which has been supporting media and moving image education since 1986.

Writer Tom Barrance has wide experience in helping teachers, children and young people to understand and use film language. He has provided DV teacher training around the UK and in Ireland, run projects and practical workshops around Wales, and was involved in training, research and publication for a Britain-wide research project into the use of digital video in schools. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator.
